Manpreet Gony began his cricketing journey with Punjab in first class cricket. He made his debut for Punjab in Ranji trophy 2007 season.
He quickly rose to prominence due to his bowling prowess and hard-hitting batting style, Gony was one of the core members of the Punjab team. He helped and guided them to several wins during his tenure.
Manpreet Gony was also instrumental behind Punjab win against Madhya Pradesh in 2012 Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy. He created history having bowled three maiden overs in first class T20 tournament.
Manpreet Gony ended the match having established 3 wickets off 4 overs and 3 maidens.
The Indian All-rounder, Manpreet Gony was also the leading wicket-taker for Punjab in domestic cricket 2017/18 season. He took wickets (19) in just 5 matches in Ranji trophy.
