Domestic

He made his domestic cricket debut for Jharkhand in 2005. Saurabh Tiwari quickly established himself and became one of the most prominent players of the Jharkhand Domestic team.
Furthermore, Saurabh Tiwari also made his first class debut for Jharkhand in December, 2006 against Jammu & Kashmir.
Considered as a dynamic batsman, Saurabh Tiwari was known for his elegant batting style and hard hitting shots.
Overall, Saurabh Tiwari represented Jharkhand in domestic cricket formats for 17 years as of 2023, the former Indian batsmen has played matches (214) having established runs (11,584) at batting average (47.95).
International
Due to his consistent performances in domestic cricket, Saurabh Tiwari finally earned his first Indian cricket team call-up. He made his ODI debut for Indian Cricket team against Australia in October, 2010.
Sadly, Saurabh Tiwari failed to impress any selectors and was unable to perform in the international stage. His career was cut short to only 3 matches, Tiwari was only able to score 49 for the Blues.

Saurabh Tiwari made his IPL debut in IPL 208 edition, he was bought by Mumbai Indians franchise in the IPL auction. He spent 2 seasons with the Mumbai franchise becoming one of the core members of the former champions.
Furthermore, Saurabh Tiwari was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise in 2011 IPL auction for a massive amount of $1.6 millions. He spent three seasons with the franchise till 2013.
He was then bought by Delhi Daredevils franchise for Rs. 70 lakhs INR in 2014. Saurabh Tiwari spent 2 seasons with the Delhi franchise till 2015.
