Who is Kyle Mayers?
Kyle Rico Mayers is a Barbadian cricketer and was born on September 8, 1992. He represents the West Indies cricket team in all formats of international cricket. He was a member of the West Indies under-19 team for the 2012 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Mayers scored 210 not out on his Test debut in February 2021 which earned him a lot of fame and media attention. He is the son of Shirley Clarke who was also a former first-class cricketer.

How is the career of Kyle Mayers going on?
Kyle Mayers was chosen to be a part of the West Indies Cricket Team for the squads which would be traveling to Bangladesh for the One Day International and Test Series. Kyle Mayers soon made his ODI debut on 20th January 2021 against Bangladesh.
Soon after his ODI Debut, Kyle Mayers went on to make his Test debut for West Indies against Bangladesh on 3rd February 2021. Mayers went on to become the 14th West Indian batsman to score a century on debut in Test cricket.
He finished his innings with 210 not out, becoming the sixth batsman in Test history to do so, and led the West Indies to victory while chasing the score of 395, the fifth greatest in Test history.
Cricket West Indies gave Mayers his first red-ball central contract in May 2021.
Mayers was purchased by the Lucknow Super Giants at the mega auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League season in February 2022.
Mayers got his maiden Test match five-wicket haul against England on March 27, 2022, in the second innings of the third test of England’s tour of the West Indies in St. George’s ground. In the match, he finished with five for eighteen and with seven wickets.
Mayers got his first ODI century against the Netherlands on June 4, 2022, in the third and final match of the series. He then scored another ODI century, this time against New Zealand.
On 1 April 2023, Mayers made his IPL debut for the Lucknow Super Giants against Delhi Capitals and went on to score 73 off 38 balls and also bowled a maiden over.
