Matthew Turner, a member of the English Premier League club, Arsenal and popularly known to his family and supporters as “Matt” is an professional American football player.
Since his debut back in 2014, Matt Turner has played in the goalkeeper position for several team across the globe namely, Jersey Express, New England Revolution, Richmond Kickers and Premier League giants, Arsenal.

He was one of the standout players of his team in baseball and basketball. Gifted with natural talent and tall build, Turner quickly rose to prominence and established himself as a core member.
Furthermore, Matt Turner enrolled at Fairfield University, Connecticut, United States of America. He enrolled himself into the football team tryouts for the goalkeeper position. The 6’3ft Matt Turner stopped 21 out of 39 shots during the tryouts and secured his place in the starting 11.
After graduating, Matt Turner signed his first professional contract with Jersey Express in 2014. He spent only 2 seasons with Jersey Express till 2015 establishing only 24 appearances.
Matt Turner had his first major breakthrough in 2016 after he was signed by MLS side, New England Revolutions.
Matt Turner slowly established himself as one of the core members of the MLS side, he cemented his place in the starting eleven and was one of the core members of the New England Revolutions side.
Matt Turner spent 6 seasons till 2022 with New England Revolutions established 102 appearances. He was one of the influential figures behind their Supporters’s Shield triumph in 2021. Matt Turner was also named the MLS all star, MLS All Star MVP and MLS Goalkeeper of the Year in 2021.
Moreover, Matt Turner had a short loan stint with USL League one club, Richmond Kickers in 2016 – 17 season. He spent two seasons till 2017 making 27 appearances for Richmond Kickers.
