Georgetown, Guyana is the place of birth of Romario Shepard. He is a Guyanese right-arm fast bowler and an integral part of the West Indies cricket team.
Romario Shepard belongs to Guyana and he has completed his education from Guyana as well, however, the pacer hasn’t disclosed anything about his Educational background as of yet.
Considered as one of the best Caribbean seamers of his generation, Romario Shepard rose to prominence due to his tall athletic built, and raw bowling prowess.

Domestic
Romario Shepard began his cricketing journey at a very young age, having been gifted with a more athletic build and natural talent, Romario Shepard quickly established himself as one of the rising stars for the West Indies.
He began his domestic cricketing career representing Guyana against Leeward LS on January 2016.
Two months later, Romario Shepard made his first-class debut for Guyana against Jamaica in March 2016.
At just 21 years of age, Romario Shepard established himself as one of the most lethal and feared pacers in domestic cricket.
Overall, Romario Shepard represented Guyana in domestic cricket matches (83) having established wickets (138) with a bowling average (30.71). He also amassed runs (1,531) with batting average (24.39).
International
Romario Shepard finally earned his first senior team call-up, he represented West Indies cricket team in November 2019. He made his ODI debut for West Indies against Afghanistan.
The 6’3ft seamer tore apart the Afghanistan batting line-up with his merciless bowling prowess. He took 2 wickets off just 32 runs in 6.2 overs in his ODI debut.
The following year, Romario Shepard made his T20 international debut for West Indies against Ireland in January 2020. Shepard again showcased his bowling skills and took 1 wicket off 4 overs in his debut T20 international match.
Soon enough, Romario Shepard established himself as one of the most integral parts of the West Indies cricket team. He also spearheaded the West Indies bowling attack.

IPL
Romario Shepard has played for some of the biggest T20 franchises over the years, he was one of the most integral parts of the Guyana Amazon Warriors franchise in the Caribbean Premier League.
He was bought by the CPL franchise in 2018. Shepard spent 4 seasons with Amazon Warriors till 2022.
Furthermore, Romario Shepard has also played in the Indian Premier League for Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise in 2022. The right-arm pacer spent only one season in the IPL with the Hyderabad franchise.
Currently, Romario Shepard represents Joburg Super Kings in the South African T20 tournament. He signed for the franchise ahead of the SA20 season in 2023.
