Who is Kyle Jamieson?
Kyle Jamieson is a New Zealand international cricketer who made his debut for the New Zealand cricket team against India in February 2020. Because of the consistency of Kyle Jamieson the New Zealand Cricket Board gave him the central contract for the term 2020 to 2021.
He was an important part for the New Zealand cricket team which won the 2021 World Test Championship final where he went on to take 5 wickets during the first innings of the final.

Where does Jamieson come from?
Kyle Jamieson attended the Auckland Grammar School and was a part of the 2014 under 19 World Cup for the New Zealand team.
During his young days because of his massive height, he also played basketball and was really good at it but after growing up when he had to choose only one he chose cricket over basketball.
How is the career of Kyle Jamieson going on?
He was under the radar of the New Zealand cricket board for a long time because of his consistent abilities in domestic cricket and various T20 leagues around the world and he finally got his call-up for the New Zealand cricket team in December 2019 for the series against Australia but did not get the chance to debut in the series.
Soon after that he was included in the one-day international Squad for New Zealand against India and made his debut in the first ODI and went on to announce his Arrival To The World when he bagged the player of the match in his debut.
In the same series, he also got the chance to make his test debut for the New Zealand cricket team during the first test. Although he could not make an impact in the first test in the second test he went on to take his first 5 wicket haul in the first innings against India.
In February 2021 Jamieson was brought in by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the 2021 Indian Premier League season and he had a successful season with the team.
