The Indian cricketing fans had a mini heart-attack on Sunday. It was during the IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals that the heart-stopping incident happened.

Mumbai won the toss and decided to ask the opposition to bat first. Delhi started off on a slow note but eventually gained pace. Shikhar Dhawan (43), Colin Ingram (47) and Rishabh Pant’s magnificent 78 from 27 balls powered Delhi to 213/6.

Mumbai’s worries were doubled in the last over of the Delhi’s innings. Their pacer Jasprit Bumrah fell awkwardly on his shoulder. He had dived to his left in order to stop a single off his own bowling.

But the unfortunate incident happened and Bumrah was left grimacing in pain. The fielders and the physio immediately ran towards him. Bumrah then walked off the field which didn’t look like a great sight.

Suryakumar Yadav misread a single and was run-out following a sensational direct-hit from Delhi skipper Shreyas Iyer. Yuvraj Singh (53) and Kieron Pollard (21) scored a partnership of exactly 50 runs.

Pollard was dismissed by Keemo Paul with a slower one. Krunal Pandya (32) gave some fight, but it was too much to ask. When Yuvi got out in the 18th over, all hopes were already lost. Mumbai eventually managed 176 runs for 10 wickets and lost the game by 37 runs.
