Hardik Recovers From Injury; Returns To Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians get a huge boost just few days before the beginning of IPL 2019. Their star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has recovered from injury and joined the pre-season camp.

Pandya played the last three ODIs and T20Is against New Zealand. But due to a back injury, he was ruled out of the T20I and ODI series against Australia. This was the repercussion of the same injury which he suffered in last year’s Asia Cup.

After recovering from that injury, he joined the Test team in Australia. However he and KL Rahul was sent back to India following a controversy in talkshow Koffee With Karan. Later both the cricketers were suspended by the Committee of Administrators.

Later the suspension was lifted until the appointment of an ombudsman. Recently Justice DK Jain was appointed as the ombudsman who will finally take a call on the case.

Pandya will now be eyeing a good form in the IPL ahead of the upcoming World Cup. He will certainly play for the Men in Blue in the mega-tournament. The Baroda-born cricketer started his training at the pre-season camp of the IPL franchise.
