Flop XI Of IPL’s First Week (From Match 1 To Match 12)

We have already experienced the first week of the 12th edition of Indian Premier League. The first week witnessed some brutal hitting, spectacular bowling, jaw-dropping fielding, sparkling centuries and many more.

However on the other hand there were some massive disappointments from some classy players. There were huge expectations on them but they failed to deliver on the big stage, which in turn cost their teams a lot.

These players performed poorly in all the three games and from them a list of Flop XI has been created. These players would like to set their record straight and perform well in the rest of the tournament.

Here are the eleven players who failed to perform this week and are part of Flop XI:

1. Ambati Rayudu (wk) – Chennai Super Kings

One of the best performers of CSK for the last season. Rayudu’s consistent performance was one of the reasons that CSK won the title last year. However this year he isn’t in a good form and has struggled to get going.

In the three matches so far, he has scored just 34 runs which included a high score of 28. His average is just 11 and he has a strike-rate of 62. Rayudu must score more runs to get selected in the upcoming World Cup squad selection.
