KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya to join Team India

The Specialist opener, Kl Rahul All rounder Hardik Pandya recently found new life when their ban was lifted by CoA. The Committee of Administrators (CoA) , on Thursday that runs BCCI has lifted the ban which was imposed on them. They were recently controversialy involved in a TV show. Which led the two members of the national side sent back home from Australia .
After the controversy on filmmaker Karan Johar’s show ‘Koffee With Karan’ caused a massive outrage and it looked like their careers were in serious jeopardy.

Pandya joins for the ODIs

But due to the recent incidents , the 2 cricketers are breathing a sigh of relief . As soon as the ban was revoked , Pandya was asked to catch a flight to New Zealand in the ongoing ODI series. The Baroda born All Rounder is one of the intrigal members of the World Cup Squad of Team India.

On the other hand , Kl Rahul will play for India A against the visiting England Lions in the last three ODIs before flying to New Zealand for the three-T20I series. The Karnataka batsman , was very poor in the Test series against Australia. Shubman Gill , the talismatic talented KKR batsman, and allrounder Vijay Shankar were called as replacements for Rahul and Pandya respectively. While , Vijay Shankar made his ODI debut in Australia and also played the first game against The Black Caps . Shubman Gill is still waiting for his chance.

Kl Rahul to replace Indian Captain in T20s.

As the management has decided to rest the Indian Captain . Kohli will be rested for the series and also skip the last two ODIs against The Black Caps.  Kl Rahul, who has two centuries in T20Is and averages over 43 and hits the ball at the rate of 148.38 per 100 balls, could be picked in the playing XI since captain Virat Kohli has been rested for the series.

India are leading the five-match series 1-0 after their eight-wicket victory in Napier. The second match will be played at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on Saturday.
