4 Things India Should Change Before the Third Test

1. Rishabh Pant should be given a chance in place of Dinesh Karthik

After scoring heaps of runs in Ranji Trophy and because of regular Test wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha’s injury, Dinesh Karthik got back to the national side.

But his performance with the bat and gloves has not been impressive as the Tamil Nadu batsman scored just 21 runs from four innings and has got himself out for a duck twice.

So this could be the ideal time to introduce Rishabh Pant to the Test squad. Pant has been playing for India A at England for two months and has performed well in both ODI and four-day games.

Moreover his aggressive approach and bold style of play might just be the thing India needs at this crucial moment of the series.

Playing XI for the third Test (after these changes):

KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Karun Nair, Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohd Shami, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah / Umesh Yadav
