The Albiceleste coach Lionel Scaloni and their main man Lionel Messi wants try his luck on international football one more time as the 31 year old wants reignite his international career with his motherland.

Messi did not feature himself for any of the match for Argentine after they got eliminated in the 2018 Russia world cup, but now he is back with the pair of friendlies.

After the loss against France the Argentine captain made himself unavailable for his country, but this month he will feature for his country against Venezuela and Morocco on this month.

Discussing about his return the Argentine manager stated: “It was a big disappointment the World Cup in Russia and for Messi even more. The decision in the first six matches [of the Scaloni cycle] was that it did not come.

“Over time he saw that we grew up, he observed the way we play and he is happy. Messi wants to try it one more time.

“The decision of the coaching staff was not to come, and as a result of the matches he saw we did, he is happy and wants to try one more time. For us it is welcome.

“He is playing many games and many players would like to rest, but he prefers to come. The decision of whether to play a game or two is going to be taken by me.

Messi is the leading goalscorer for his country with 65 goals, but he did not manage to win any single silverware with them, falling short in 2014, lost the final against Germany and in 2015 and 2016 lost Copa America final against Chile in the shootout.

Argentine will face Venezuela on 22nd March in Madrid and then after four days late they will take on against Morocco.
