PSG took second leg vs Man Utd too lightly: Kimpembe

The PSG center back claimed that his side were relaxed after their dominant first half display against Manchester United, but vowed never to let it happen again.

Kimpembe revealed that they have taken the match too lightly.

Presnel Kimpembe has vowed that to never let his team suffer the way they suffered against the EPL giants Manchester United last week and also blamed his club for taking the match not that seriously.

The French capital side is the first team to fall in knockout after winning the first leg by 2 or more goals away from home as the Red Devils secured a 3-1 win at Parc de Princes  thanks to a late penalty.

The loss against United marked as  continuation of a Champions league frustration for the French club, now this is the third time they got eliminated from the Champions league round of 16, the defender says that this loss is hard to move on from.

He voiced: “It hurts me, very bad even, I feel what the fans feel,”

He added: “We lost that grit and that rage we had in the first leg,”

“It’s not the fact of having lived through past experiences that made us feel stressed. or whatever it was. No, it was really a self-satisfaction.

“Of course we will lose more games in the UCL, but losing games like this is over. I don’t want it to happen to us anymore.”
