The 23-years-old Paul Pogba is now playing for the Premier League club Manchester United after completing his move from the Juventus with a world breaking transfer fee of £89 million.
And now the Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has recently revealed that the Spanish giant Real Madrid’s boss Zinedine Zidane were in the competition alongside some of the top European clubs to sign the France midfielder,
As Raiola said in an interview with Telefoot, “Zidane wanted him at Real Madrid, but five or six other clubs were after him too,"
"Manchester United now are stronger thanks to Pogba, but Real Madrid are not."
Raiola also revealed that the France midfielder went on vacation to Miami because he was very disappointed by the lost in UEFA Euro 2016 final against Portugal.
Raiola admitted that Pogba took his decision to move to the Old Trafford instead of moving to the other big European clubs because he feels Manchester as his home.
“I never spoke to Pogba about the transfer market when he was taking part in Euro 2016, then he went on vacation because he was very disappointed by the final,"
"So I went to meet him in Miami to get him up to speed. He explained to us what he wanted. Manchester is his home." Raiola said.
