The three time Ballon d'Or winner has ended his lean spell at the Estadio de Mendizorroza last night where he puts two goals in the first half and then he completed his hat trick in the second half.
The Frenchman hails about his Portuguese superstar by saying that he has finally back on the track, and he also added:
"does his talking on the pitch".
"It is always better this way," Zidane told a press conference. "When Cristiano scores and even better when he scores three.
"[Ronaldo] does his talking on the pitch. His performance was good in all aspects. Cristiano showed patience today. He has proven the hard work he's been doing."
The Frenchman was also happy how his boys perform last night against Alaves and how they came up as a team when they are trailing in the opening seven minutes where the Deyverson scored the first goal for the Alaves.
"I am happy with how we played," the Frenchman added. "We suffered in the first half but deserved to win.
"If we don't suffer, like we did in the first half, it is impossible to win the league. We must know how to suffer and win."
