ZIDANE GIVES ME CONFIDENCE – ISCO

The 24 year old Spanish international was invariably indebt to the 44 year old former French international for showing faith in him when he was going through crisis.

And the former also respected his faith by scoring two goals for his side.
last night Los Blancos had a bone crushing victory over Real Betis  by a colossal margin of 6 goals to 1.

The former Malaga midfielder was rumored to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in light of his quite ordinary performance till last night.

He pays kudos to Zidane for backing him since he has stepped  way below the expectation but he finally paid him back with two  glorious goals against Real Betis at Benito Villamarin.

"We needed a game like that," he told reporters. "I needed a little confidence and that's what I gained. I have lacked minutes and I still hope to slowly pick up more.

"I lack confidence in myself, but the coach has given me confidence from the outset.

"When things do not go as you'd hoped you have to work harder than before, work every day and seize opportunities."

A huge burden was took off from Zidane's shoulder after his side thrashed Real Betis which also ended their four match winless run in all competitions and Zidane is also very hopeful about that fact that his side will continue to thrive this intensity on the field in the coming matches.

"I am very pleased," he added. "After four draws we had to make a game like that. That was the intensity we needed.

"There are no small teams but we started strong and it is difficult for the opponent when we start that way.

"Hopefully [the winless run] will not happen again. If we get the intensity of today from the beginning we will lose less points.

"The players know that it is difficult for the opponent when we play well, but we must continue working as we are.

"It would be good to not return to a streak of draws."
