ZICO – MISTAKES COST MUMBAI CITY ?

FC Goa will travel to the bustle city to the Mumbai to face Mumbai City FC; the Brazilian thinks that in this ISL Indian players have get lack of opportunities.

On Friday the Bollywood’s actor Ranbir Kapoor’s co owned side Mumbai City FC will play against FC Goa at the Mumbai Football Arena, FC Goa just collected one points in this ISL so far in there four matches.

In this third season Zico’s crew are struggling to make an impact, in the earlier season they were the finalists, the  Brazilian and quoted that signing of players is the elementary reason for club’s dismissal form.

''I think something happened during the formation of our team because of the deadlines and all the things that happened last season. We even have one player less because of some mistakes that happened about the restrictions with players. Of course, that makes our lives a little bit harder,''Zico said.

The Gaurs coach thinks that in this season they are trying their best and they have done a decent job.

''I think our team playing well. Even when we lost in three games, it was very clear that in two games we could have had a totally different result.''

He is blaming the back four of his team for the bad results they have faced in this season.

''We lost the two matches more because of our mistakes than because of the merits of the other team.''

In their last match Mumbai City have drawn their match against Delhi Dynamos by 3-3,despite they have the early lead, the Brazilian thinks that the side has suffered because the mistake has done during the match by the referees.

'I think Mumbai were playing a very nice game. I don’t think they lost because of the lack of defense. If you see the two goals of Delhi (Dynamos), one goal was offside and the other wasn’t a penalty in my opinion. So I believe they were more harmed because of the decisions of the referee than the lack of their defense,'' he added.
