ZAMBROTTA LOOKS RELAXED AND CALM AFTER DELHI SECURED A WIN AFTER SEVERAL DRAWS.

Gianluca Zambrotta the head coach of Delhi Dynamos FC is really in mood to enjoy and lead the moment after defeating 2-0 against FC Goa at Fatorda's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday evening.

 

“Marcelinho is very important for us and he has played very well so far and he needed recovery so that was the reason behind not starting him and bringing him on in the second half, and I also think Badara [Badji and Kean [Lewis] did well after coming on and I am very happy with the team's performance,” Zambrotta told reporters after the game.

 

Delhi as they started the 3rd season with a bang by securing a win over the defending champions Chenniayin FC and since then they were not showing up with the skills they actually acquire.

Since the last five games Delhi came up with 4 draws in a row and a defeat in the 5th game and finally securing a win on the 6th game, on being asked what the feeling really was after waiting to taste the win after 5 matches. 

 

He said:  “I didn't have any problem with the draws because the other teams also played well and we also created opportunities to score. But it was pleasing to win the match today.”

 

Anas Edathodika the real hero of the match he made a comeback after the injury said:  “This was a difficult and important match for us and they are a good team and we respect them and the team was fully prepared for this match, and it was important for us to get the three points,” Edathodika said.

 

He thanked his coach saying, “The coach has backed me and the physios and doctors have done a great job,” he said.
