Gianluca Zambrotta the former Juventus star, who is currently the manger of Delhi Dynamos desires to bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic in India.
Zambrotta played with the star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Juventus, and is a huge fan of the superstar striker, who currently playing for Manchester United in the England. At the end of the season Delhi Dynamos manager wants to lure the Swedish striker to Delhi Dynamos.
Last season only Ibrahimovic joined Red devils from Paris Saint- Germain and since then the super star striker has been the asset for Manchester United and Jose, as he already scored four goals in his first seven Premier League matches.
The 35-year-old Swedish star striker contract expire at end of 2016-17 season and Zambrotta desire to bring Zlatan to India for the next season of Indian Super League.
"Given his fan following in India, I think Zlatan would want to come and end his career here," Zambrotta told Indian Express.
"On my end, I will definitely try and convince him to play for Delhi Dynamos.
"India will soon be a big destination for international football.
"Given the level of competitiveness in the Indian Super League and the quality of Indian players, I am sure it will be amongst the top five football leagues of the world in the next decade.”
Zambrotta’s team Delhi Dynamos has started strongly in this year’s Indian Super League and has picked up four points from their first two matches.
In their third match at ISL season 3 Kerala Blasters have managed to earn their first points against Delhi Dynamos, where they manage to draw against them by 0-0.
The 32 year old English footballer was the closest to score a goal for in the first half but the Delhi goalkeeper Toni Doblas denied his effort.
“We kept the ball a lot better. We tried to be progressive from the back. Delhi play with a sitting midfield player and it's hard to break them down. But I thought we didn't over-commit ourselves. We played our game plan. But we did not get a break.
