Arsenal produces a great performance on Saturday match against Chelsea, Arsenal claims victory over Chelsea since October 2011.
The French man praised over the Gunners style and steel as they ended their jinx against over Chelsea with a 3-0 win.
The Gunners had not beaten Chelsea since October 2011, and they failed to put a goal against the Blues in their last six meetings league matches.
But on Saturday they put a solid display as a team and they scored three goals, thanks to Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil.
It is North Londoners fourth successive win in the league and that puts them third in the table after six matches, after their win against Chelsea the 66 year old Frenchman is happy with his team’s performance.
"I am very happy," he told "The inconvenient facts were there and we needed to change the recent history. We did it with style and steel. That's what we wanted.
"We were committed and disciplined and that is not so easy to find that balance in these kind of games. Overall I believe our collective rhythm was very good to give them problems.
"We want to play this kind of game, based on technical quality and pace. I hope this kind of performance convinces the players that we are on the right path. We still have some room for improvement."
The Frenchman particularly praises about his central blockers, Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi after they put on a solid display last night.
"They [the two centre-backs] had an outstanding performance," he said. "Both of them [were] committed and intelligent, technically sound, so overall I am very pleased."
