Transfer news says that the Catalan giants want to add Mina to their ranks in this January.
Alexandre Mattos the sporting director of Palmeiras confirmed that Barcelona want to acquire
Yerry Mina in January.
The 23-year-old Colombian defender is in the top of the Barcelona’s transfer list.
Though Barcelona is ready to grab him as early as possible, but Mattos confirmed that Palmeiras wants to hold onto him until the end of this season.
Mattos elucidated: "It's true that Barcelona came for Mina with another offer but also that Palmeiras want Mina to stay here,"
"We are going to wait for him to arrive in Sao Paulo and we will talk.
"If Palmeiras is satisfied with any situation so that he leaves before, we will do it. Otherwise, he will stay with us."
Barcelona offered €9million for the Colombian international but the Brazilian giants are demanding €12m to let him leave.
