The Barcelona striker ended his five league games goal drought against the Espanyol side but he claims that it is not about his scoring.
The Uruguayan striker said that he is not obsessed with his scoring after he ends his goal drought against the Catalan rivals and on the base of his goals the Barcelona side registered their win over their counterpart by 3-0 goals.
The Uruguayan striker scored two goals last night and his teammate Rakitic scored another goal for them and with that win, they are again at the top of the La Liga table.
But the striker said it is not about his scoring what matters are his team is winning it or not.
He voiced: "Of course I am happy with the two goals I scored, for what they mean, but I want to make it clear that I wasn't obsessed about not scoring recently,"
"These are things that happen in football. The important thing is to help the team, it doesn't matter who scores the goals."
"It was not an easy game at all. Espanyol came out well in the first half and was well organized in defense,"
"We couldn't find a solution. But thanks to our intensity, desire and our ambition, we didn't give up and the goal eventually arrived and calmed us down.
"The win today was priceless, of course. We have to win everything, the three games we have left, there's nothing else. We just have to keep winning and keep the pressure on and see what happens in the end."
