The clubs view towards AIFF'S future policy has been very been skeptical and they have raised some strong questions.
In a press release the Sporting Goa has confirmed the news that they are not taking any part in the 2016-2017 season of I league.
Due to conflict with AIFF's future roadmap Sporting Goa and Salgoacar F.C has finally decided to step way form the next edition of I league after several rounds of discretion.
After the news burst into open the officials of AIFF mainly General Secretary Kushal Das, CEO Sunando Dhar, Chirag Tanna who is representing IMG Reliance has penned down a letter to the club hierarchy.
At the meeting AIFF General secretary promised to call for a meeting to discuss and negotiate the problems that those above mentioned clubs are facing and they will propose the final proposal on or before 31 st july 2016.
But nothing transpired after the proposed meeting until 28th July, 2016,the AIFF decided to form a small committee to look into the matter and to spoke to all the stake holders so that a constructive decision can be taken to take forward Indian club football.
FIFA president Giovanni Infantino and AFC president Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa and secretary Dato John Windsor disembarked on Goa so that they can express their concern , AFC had to intervene because of the fact that Mumbai Fc another I league club moved one step further and road to FIFA and AFC expressing their concern about Indian football's future .
