Solskjaer confirms Valencia set to leave Manchester United

The Ecuadorian full back will become a free agent in this summer, according to the caretacker manager of United, and it is also unlikely that the Red Devils will offer him a new deal.

Valencia is set to leave United after his 10 years tenure with them.

The New Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that the Full back’s exit is imminent; with this Friday till midnight is the deadline for the club to trigger a one year extension for him.

This season the 33 year old has been featured in five games for United in premier league, he has been suffering from a poor form and strings of footling injury issue.

After his injury, he is expected to be on the pitch until the end of the march,and is current deal with the Red Devils is set to expire after the end of this season.

The former United man still hopes that Valencia will deliver his best for this club between now and may, and he admitted the fact that it is unlikely that his services will be retained beyond this summer.

Solskjaer voiced: “He’s still not 100% fit, still working to get back fit and he’s had a fantastic career here at Manchester United and England,”

In 2009 he joined United from Wigan and since then he has manager to win two premier league titles, FA Cup, Carabao cup and One Europa league with them.
