The new interim manager will able to call upon Alexis Sanchez for the first time when the Red Devils will face Newcastle United.

The Chilean international is set to make his return for Manchester United on this Wednesday when they will travel to Newcastle and the caretaker manager is optimistic that he will bring the best out of him.
The 30-year-old man was sidelined since a hamstring injury in November, the setback in his flattering start at Old Trafford since he moved in from Arsenal in January 2018.

The New Manchester United manager said: “He is champing at the bit,”
“He wants to play all the time, he’s one of those characters. Alexis has had some great training sessions over the last few days and wanted to be [involved in Sunday’s 4-1 win over Bournemouth] as well but we’ve had to manage him. He’s been out for a month. He will be involved [at Newcastle].”
On the prospect Sanchez Slotting into the new style of play, he stated: “I think Alexis is a player that would benefit from the interchanging, rotation and movements and more chances. If we create more chances and get the ball in the final third, he will be an asset for us.”
