The Champions League final will once again be the clash of two giants as Liverpool is going to face the defending champions Real Madrid.

The Egyptian forward, Mohamed Salah, is all set to face Cristiano Ronaldo in the final as has warned that he cannot win the title all by himself, and will definitely need his teammates to assist him in conquering the prized trophy.

"It is not going to be a final between Mohamed Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo," said Salah after his current team won against his former club with a 7-6 aggregate and progressed into the final.

"I am playing for a great club and we have great players, so qualifying to the final came with great teamwork. I cannot do it alone – it is collective work.

"When we score a goal it's because we are all doing good, when we concede it means we all need to work harder", added Salah.

Real Madrid had previously booked their place in the final on Tuesday after they drew 2-2 (winning 4-3 on aggregate) with Bayern Munich.

Liverpool lost to Roma on Wednesday by 4-2, but nevertheless they progressed into the finals as they had previously won the first leg 5-2 at Anfield, making the aggregate 7-6.

Salah has scored 10 goals so far in the tournament and is 5 goals behind Ronaldo as the Portuguese superstar currently tops the goal-scorer chart of the tournament.

Salah, who has currently scored 43 goals in all the competitions this season for Liverpool, and is considered the player who might be able to end the dominance of Ronaldo and Messi over the Ballon d’Or.

The Champions League final is going to be played on May 26 in Kiev, Ukraine.
