The July transfer window is edging closer with every passing moment and teams from all over the world are preparing themselves to approach their targets to make a successful transfer.
Football News: Madrid is going to target a more affordable Salah, claims Diario Gol
The talk of the transfer market would be the two superstars− Mohamed Salah, who currently plays for Liverpool, and Neymar, who currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain.
Salah was signed by Liverpool from Roma in the previous summer transfer window for a transfer fee of just £34 million, which later proved to be the transfer of the century.
This is because Salah has managed to score 43 goals from 47 appearances so far in all the competitions across Europe and has led the Reds to the Champions League final where they will face the defending champions Real Madrid.
Due to his recent success, the transfer value of Salah has risen drastically and Liverpool are sure to demand more than £142 million, the price at which they had sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona in the previous winter transfer.
Neymar’s situation has worsened as he wants to leave his present club after just one year of playing there. He cites the lack of competition and the not-so-good state of football in the French league as his reason to leave the club.
PSG invested £222 million to get the services of Neymar from Barcelona, and will surely look to get the best value to compensate for their losses.
Spanish giants Real Madrid have marked both the players as their summer transfer targets, but will have to pursue only one because of their huge transfer fee.
Spanish outlet Diario Gol has claimed that the Los Blancos have now finalised that they would pursue Salah as the Egyptian is going to be cheaper and would cost them less money than the Brazilian.
