The Manchester United highest goal scorer believes that after Sir Alex Ferguson the Manchester United finally found the perfect manager, and he believes under the special one United will find success.

Sir Alex Ferguson retired from coaching in 2013 and after that Manchester United hires David Moyes and then after that they hire Louis van Gaal but both of them fail to take Manchester United back to their glory and they were sacked from their duty by the Manchester United hierarchy, but in this 2016-2017 they hired the special one as their new manager and they are back on the right track under him.

The 31 year old striker Wayne Rooney thinks that the changing of such managers in now days it is a part of the modern game, but he believes right now they hired the right man who will going to be a successor of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Rooney said:  "I think that's part of football,"

"Obviously Manchester United have had the stability of Sir Alex over the 26 years before, and I think over the last three or four years what they've been doing is trying to find the right one. And I believe they've found him [in Mourinho]

"Just working every day and seeing how he [Mourinho] wants to work, how he is setting the team up. There's successes around the corner."

The Manchester United team lost their match against Hull City in the EFL cup by 2-1, and with this defeat their unbeaten run of 17 games comes to an end.

The 31 year old could be in the starting lineup in today’s game against Wigan in the FA cup fourth round.

Rooney joined the Red Devils in 2004 under Sir Alex Ferguson from Everton and in his United career, he has won five Premier League titles, two League Cups, one FA Cup. Under special one he is whishes to win One FA cup and one more Champions league.

He added: "I joined this club, I said at the time, to play Champions League football and obviously Sir Alex was the reason I joined the club,"

"I wanted to obviously win trophies and I've done that since I've been here.

"When I first joined the club, I think Gary Neville and Scholesy [Paul Scholes] were on like four Premier League titles and I remember sitting there thinking 'they've won four Premier Leagues, that's crazy'.

"Then, obviously, now I've won five. I'm sure the likes of Rashford coming into the dressing room, they're probably looking at the likes of me and Michael Carrick thinking 'they've won five Premier League titles'. That's the aim, that's what you want to get to.

"He'll have his time and I'm sure if he keeps doing the right things, going the way he is, then he'll be a great player for this club and hopefully in 10 or whatever years more time he'll be close to the record."
