As every football lovers knows that there is a rivalry between the two Clasico stars, but the Argentine ace Messi says his desire to shine comes from wanting to perform for Barcelona and Argentina as opposed to outshining Ronaldo.

And according to Messi, he has lots of respect for Cristiano as he believe Cristiano Ronaldo is a "great player" that’s why he has achieved great things, but beating Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t motivate him as his motivation, though, has always come from wanting to do well for Barcelona and Argentina, and the fans.
