Ronaldo arrival has taken Juve forward in Europe: Nedved

Football News: The Vice president of Juventus Pavel Nedved avouches that the arrival of the five times Ballon D’Or winner has increased the Juventu’s standing in Europe’s elite.

Former Juventus star lauded about the Portuguese superstar.

This season Ronaldo left Madrid and joined the Turin based side Juventus for €112million and on this Sunday he scored his first goal for them in Serie A.

He scored his first goal in a friendly match against Juventus Senior vs Juventus Youth team match.

About his arrival the Vice president said: "Juventus' step forward among the big clubs in Europe has been confirmed further.

"That we managed to bring Ronaldo to Juventus is something exceptional.

"It'll give us a bit more for the future, as well as for all of Italian football."

In this transfer season Juventus were quite busy as so far they have added Emre Can, Mattia Perin and Joao Cancelo and Bonucci in their rank, along with Ronaldo.

They brought Emre Can from Liverpool as a free agent, about the German international Nedevd added: "There's been very little talk about Emre Can but this was an important move,"

"He was wanted across Europe by many big clubs but we managed to sign him. He's a player with a lot of substance to his game both tactically and technically.

"He is a typical German player who knows how to distribute very well. You'll see that he will be very important to the team."
