Roma can cope without Liverpool bound Allison: Perotti

Football News: The Brazilian goalkeeper is a big loss for the Serie A side but Roma can survive without him as well as they did like with the following departure like Mo Salah and Nainggolan.

Roma will still be Roma without Allison.

This moment the Brazilian international on the brink of completion his move to Liverpool for a fee of £67million.

The24-year-old who is ready to sing a six years deal with the EPL giants Liverpool conceded just 28 goals last season in his 37 appearances in Serie A.

He also paid a pivotal part last season for Roma in the Champions league, last term he has reached to the Semi final with the Serie A side where their campaign was ended by Liverpool.

This season Roma already lost their star midfielder Radja Nainggolan to Inter Milan and now they are ready to say good bye to Allison as well, but Perotti believes that Roma can cope without them.

Perotti voiced: "He [Alisson] was a really important goalkeeper for us and his saves rescued a lot of points and games last season, but that is football,"

"I will say that a club never acts to damage itself, as every move is made to improve the team overall. We'll see how it goes at the end of the season.

"Admittedly, Alisson is a big loss for us, because he's a great guy, was a strong part of the locker room dynamic and we're sorry to see him go, but life is like that.

"It happened with Salah and Nainggolan, Roma continued and will carry on, so we must do just as well as last season."
