Rio Ferdinand thinks Manchester United need three signings in the next transfer window

Team talk

According to the former Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand, in the upcoming season, Manchester United needs three signings to strengthen their squad and to fight for the English Premier League trophy.

Ferdinand wants to see some improvements in the defense, in the midfield, and in the attack, though last night Manchester United manages to extend their unbeaten run to 16 games after winning the match with flying colors against Bournemouth at Old Trafford.

The former Manchester United defender was full of praises of the Manchester United team for their wonderful unbeaten run and after their thumping 5-2 win against their counterpart last night.

He said:

“I think they need to add three starters minimum,”

“Definitely a centre-back with pace.

“You’ve got Harry Maguire there who they’ve invested huge amounts in, I think he’s not someone blessed with pace but has other attributes that we like, but you need someone who has pace to be able to sit alongside him and cover.

“Another midfielder to go in there who can dominate physically as well and who can actually understand defensive positions.

“I think Scott McTominay has been a fantastic addition as a young player coming in, the experience as well.

“I think maybe even in the forward areas, another player to come in and really rival that front three and be a part of that and add goals.”.

The Manchester United teenage sensation Mason Greenwood scored a brace yesterday, with Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, and Anthony Martial all has one goal each to their name for the team, and the present Manchester United manager was also delighted with the performance of his side.

The Manchester United gaffer voiced:

“They are exciting,”

“We have players who provide chances for them but they have pace and skill. It is just too bad our fans could not be here and spurred them on for a couple more.
