RANIERI: CHAMPION ROONEY STILL NOT BETTER THAN LEICESTER PLAYERS

The Leicester City manager respects the Manchester United striker’s achievements but says he would not give up his clubs stars for anyone.

 

The Foxe’s manager Claudio Ranieri praises Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney but feels there is no room for him in his team.

 

Manchester United has lost three games on a row, and Rooney’s display was questionable, finally they won against Northampton Town.

 

The Italian manager hailed the England international ahead of the premier league meeting between the two clubs at   Old Trafford on Saturday.

 

 

"He is an amazing player. He's a champion," Ranieri told reporters. "[But] I love my players, and I wouldn't change my players with anybody else.

 

"I'm very pleased with them and we think we can have a very good season."
United are in the seventh in the EPL table ahead of Leicester on the table, the foxes are in the eleventh position.
