The Indian international Arnab Mondal, who is currently playing for the Kolkata based I league giant East Bengal FC has recently admitted that India’s successful outing in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup Qualifier will be a “boost” for India’s long-term football ambitions.

The 27-year-old Indian defender Arnab Mondal was suffering a knee injury and after recovering from the injury, he is back in the national squad, preparing at the Mumbai Football Arena.
As on Monday, 13th March, the India National Football Team has started their first training session ahead of its AFC Asian Cup third-round qualifier against Myanmar in Yangon on March 28.
Indian National Football Team will also play an international friendly against Cambodia in Phnom Penh on March 22, before the AFC Asian Cup third-round qualifier against Myanmar in Yangon on March 28.
And the East Bengal defender Arnab Mondal believes India’s successful outing in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup Qualifier will be a “boost” for India’s long-term football ambitions.
As recently speaking to media, Mondal said, “Qualifying will be a boost for Indian football. If we do well, the next generation will benefit and even those of us in this squad competent enough to last long will benefit,”
