The FC Barcelona’s chiefs are hopeful that the Argentina international Messi will stay at the Nou Camp as the star forward is yet to renew his contract with the Spanish champions, which is ending in 2018.
And recently after a huge 4-0 Champions League 1st leg win over FC Barcelona, the director of football for PSG Patrick Kluivert has admitted that the Ligue 1 champions PSG would love to add the 29-year-old five times ballon d’Or winner Lionel Mess to their ranks and could make a move for Lionel Messi in the future after missing out on teammate Neymar last summer.
As in a recent interview, the director of football for PSG Patrick Kluivert said,
“Messi? Never say never. The football world might want that but I think Messi is currently happy in Barcelona"
“Am I going to try to sign him? I never said that. He is like Neymar, Messi is a player every team in the world would like to acquire.”
“We played a great game [against Barcelona]. All the players were at 100 per cent. When we played like that, our opponents struggle.”
