PEP GUARDIOLA TO END STONE DEAL AT £40 MILLION

Reports say that City will not be increasing the bid for John Stones
above £40million.

Manchester City desires to land defender John Stones before the
transfer season comes to an end. For a long time Guardiola has been
chasing Stones as he wants the central defenders of his team to start
their game from behind with exact passes.

Manchester City placed a bid for the Everton star a sum of £40million
where as Everton keeps his mouth shut on £50million. City warned that,
the club will not be going further the given amount and if the price
does not suits the other than they have to move for their next
contender, Juventus and Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci.

John Stones, the 22 year Juventus defender wants to cast his vouch for
Manchester City and even told Juventus boss Ronald Koeman that he has
moved to Alderly Edge area where players play for Manchester clubs
live.

“We need to create good build-up play, with easy passes in midfield,
to achieve good passes for our strikers further up the pitch. When the
ball goes straight from a central defender to a striker, the ball
usually comes back as quickly as it goes. We have to make it clear [to
the players] that we are building up in our first process, whether
that is defenders or midfielders, and that is why we need players of
quality, to play in that style.” said Manchester City boss Pep
Guardiola.
