PAUL POGBA IS ‘READY’ TO MAKE HIS SECOND DEBUT FOR MANCHESTER UNITED

Manchester United new boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Paul Pogba is ready to play 'some minutes' in the upcoming clash against Southampton in Old Trafford on Friday night.

Due to the suspension Pogba carried from Juventus he missed out Manchester United’s season opener last Sunday. But now he is ready to make his second debut for the Red devils, as Jose is all set to take in charge Of the season first home game of Manchester United at Old Trafford confirms that the French star will make his appearance.

 “We played against Leicester with players with less training than him and we saw that match as a way to improve them and accelerate the process.

“With Paul it’s a bit the same – not one single minute of any pre-season match but almost two weeks of work with us, sometimes with the group, sometimes separately, and the condition is okay to play some minutes.” Mourinho told to MUTV.

After missing the United’s opening match of the Premier League because of one match ban, the world’s most expensive player Paul Pogba has declared himself ready and fit for his second Manchester United debut against Southampton.

 

In an interview with Manchester Evening News Pogba said, “You have to ask the manager, but I feel very good and have been training for 10 days. I am okay,"

"I am quite used to this. I played the World Cup two years ago when at Juve and three years ago I was at the U20 World Cup as well. So I am okay. It is about your body and I have been training on my holidays."  

And when Pogba was asked about his record breaking transfer fee he said,

“I am just happy to play football, I don't even think about it”

"My ambition is always be the the No 1 and be the best. So the objective is to win the league. We want to go back to the Champions League because that is where we belong."
