The Gunners midfielder Mesut Ozil believes that the club his club is not in a good shape and they do not have a potential player with whom they can fight for silverware.

The attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil urged the Arsenal side to strengthen their squad to fight for major trophies.

In the year of 200-2004 the last time the Arsenal side lifted the EPL trophy after that they were unable to lift that trophy and also in the Champions league they fail to make their impact as in the year of the 2005-06 season they reached the final.

Ozil feels Arsenal must spend big to get best from the market and he is getting frustrated now with their inability to fight for major trophies.
In an interview, Ozil said: "I think the club know they need to strengthen,"

"When you look at our squad, it is not as broad as Bayern Munich's or Real Madrid's. In the Champions League, that is not enough, especially against big teams, because they have more breadth in their squad.

"I want to win the Champions League and the title. I see this club as having the potential to win these trophies. When every year you see the chance, think it is really possible against big teams and then have a big defeat, it affects me because I have always wanted to achieve big goals and always will. I want to win the Champions League.

"As a player, you are never satisfied. As a player you want more, you want to win the league. I would like to win the Champions League too because it is the biggest thing in club football. This club is big, they have potential to achieve a lot and I hope that works better in the future. I have one more year on my contract. I hope to win the title and the Champions League here."

The German’s future with the Arsenal side is uncertain as he is not ready to stay with them because they are unable to fight for major trophies, and possible after the end of this season he could move his way out from Arsenal.
