The Mumbai based I league club Mumbai FC has recently confirmed that they has decided to “part ways” with their current head coach Santosh Kashyap.

On June 23 last year, the former Mohun Bagan head coach Santosh Kashyap, who was named as the new head coach of Mumbai FC for its 2016-17 I-League football season.
But Santosh Kashyap had the league's worst win rate, as Mumbai FC now have four games to save their I-League existence, which made the club to part ways with their current head coach Santosh Kashyap.
As recently in a terse and concise statement released by the club on their official website, the Yellow and Blues' management stated, “Mumbai FC has decided to part ways with coach Santosh Kashyap with immediate effect. Mumbai FC thanks Kashyap for his efforts and wishes him the best in his future endeavours,”
“The name of the new coach will be announced shortly,” it added.
