The English giant Manchester City has officially announced their new signing of Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus.
After being linked with the many big European clubs now the 19-year-old Brazilian forward is a player of man city. Gabriel has agreed a five year deal with the English side club, but he will join the club at starting of 2017 after ending his contract with the Brazilian side Palmeiras.
The Brazilian u-23 forward is currently looking forward for the Rio Olympic as he is in the Brazilian Rio Olympic squad alongside with Neymar.
Gabriel expressed that he is happy to join Manchester City and also excited to show their fans some quality of play.
In an interview the young forward said, “Manchester City is one of the best clubs in the world so I'm really pleased to sign," he told the club's official website.
"We have many great talents in the team and a fantastic manager in Pep Guardiola that I can learn so much from.
"I'm looking forward to showing the City fans what I can do and I think we'll have a great future together!"
Manchester City's director of football, Txiki Begiristain has also expressed his fillings towards the young forward.
He said, "We are delighted that Gabriel has chosen to join us, He is one of the most exciting young prospects in world football and plays the game in a spectacular way”
"We look forward to him making a big impact at Manchester City in January."
