OFFICIAL: LEICESTER CITY SIGNED DANNY DRINKWATER IN THEIR TEAM

Midfielder Danny Drinkwater landed in Leicester City after signing a five-year contract with the Premier League Champions

 

 

For an undisclosed fee, the Premier League champions Leicester City signed a deal of five year with midfielder Danny Drinkwater. The player seemed to be very happy as he felt like a dream come true.

 

The 21-year-old was the star player in the Foxes’  and gained great titles under  Claudio Ranieri  in the last session and now he is finally in the club till 2021. The midfielder belives that he could not have been more happier if he landed in any other clubs.

 

“I’ve loved playing for this club, it’s been perfect for me and my career and I want to be here for a long time to come. I couldn’t be happier.” told Drinkwater in the club’s official website.

 

“I’ve grown a lot as a player and a person in the last four years and Leicester City has been a massive part of that. I owe a lot to the staff here for helping me get to this point – they’ve been quality.

 

“And I love being part of this team. We’ve been through so much together and I’m sure there’s a lot more to come.”

 

Danny entered the club after signing a brand new deal following the club’s prominent signings like Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, Wes Morgan, Kasper Schmeichel and Andy King.

 

In 2012, he was the part of Midlands-based club from Manchester United and led them to gain their top promotion in 2014. He was also the key player who helped them to win their seasonal title in the last session.

 

In 2015-16, Drinkwater showed a masterpiece performance which took him to land in England to play against Netherlands but did not get a chance to play in Euro 2016.
