The England and Manchester City no. 1 shot stopper Joe Hart has completed his summer move to the Italian side club Torino F.C. on Wednesday after agreeing a season-long loan deal with Torino.
After failing to impress Manchester City’s new boss Pep Guardiola, the England shot stopper was benched in maximum matches that City played in this season and City has recently signed the 33-years-old Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo from FC Barcelona as Pep Guardiola wants a goalkeeper who has a good foot skill.
And now the 29-years-old Joe Hart, who has made 348 appearances for the Manchester City and helped the club to win the 2011 FA Cup and Premier League titles in 2011-12 and 2013-14 has decided to leave the Etihad Stadium as he completed a season-long loan deal to join Torino on Wednesday.
After completing his move, Hart says in an interview the official Torino website,
“Suddenly my career has undergone a change, and I took it as a sign of destiny and I had to do something,"
"The selection of Torino has come at the right time and in the right way. I am very happy to be able to compete in a beautiful and difficult league like Serie A.
"Italian goalkeeping is recognized throughout the world, so I am convinced I can still learn a lot here.
"This is why I immediately accepted with great enthusiasm the proposal of president [Urbano] Cairo.
"In the staff I already know [Attilio] Lombardo, who I worked with in Manchester and won, so we hope to relive many beautiful emotions together.
"I read some interviews about Torino. The coach wants players who are humble and have ambition. I really like this too, that's how I want to be."
The England no. 1 is travelling to Italy for his medical with the Torino F.C. as the England Football Association gave him permission to leave the national team camp, England will face Slovakia in a World Cup qualifier on Sunday.
