The Kolkata based I-league giant East Bengal FC have officially signed the India international striker Robin Singh on loan from the Indian Super League side club FC Goa for the I-League 2016/17 season on Wednesday.

 

The Indian international Robin Singh, who has already appeared more than 25 times for the Indian national team with scoring more than five goals, is back to his former club East Bengal FC, where he started his professional career in 2010 before moving to the two times I-league champions Bengaluru FC in 2013.

And the 26-year-old Robin Singh has tasted every kind of success in Indian football. During his tenure with East Bengal from 2010-2013, he had won 8 trophies with the club including 3 Calcutta Football League titles, 2 Federation Cups, 1 IFA shield and 1 Super Cup.

And now after completing his move to the Kolkata giant and his former club, Robin is all set to boost East Bengal FC’s attack in the ongoing I-league as Robin himself confirming the news of him joining East Bengal said on Twitter, "Happy and honoured to be back where it all started !
