The India international Sandesh Jhingan, who is currently playing for the Indian Super League side club Kerala Blasters FC has recently completed his move to the I-league, champions Bengaluru FC on loan from Kerala Blasters.

The defending champions Bengaluru FC have started their I-League title defending campaign on a high by beating the Northeast based I-league club Shillong Lajong 3-0 at home where the young Udanta Singh scored a brace and Sena Ralte netted a screamer in the game.
