Neymar Willing To Move to Old Trafford

The Brazil international got transferred just in the previous season from the Spanish club Barcelona to the French club Paris Saint-Germain for a record £200 million.

‘Although Madrid and United are both in the race, yet Neymar might choose the Red Devils’, claim sources

The 26-year-old have helped the Ligue 1 giants to achieve the domestic title, but the lack of competition and the standard of football in Ligue 1 has made Neymar to lose interest after just only one season.

Both Real Madrid and Manchester United are looking forward to acquire the services of the Brazilian. According to a Spanish website, Don Balon, Neymar wants to move to Old Trafford and wants to get rid of the Parc des Princes as soon as possible.

In Barcelona, he was getting tired of playing under the shadow of Lionel Messi and that is why he wanted to join some other club, where he would be the main man.

But after joining the French side, he had an ugly spat with teammate Edinson Cavani, over an issue where Cavani had refused to let Neymar take a spot kick.

Talking of that incident, Cavani said, "It is true that there was a problem at that time with Neymar. We spoke about it together – I told him that I was the first to want him to win things individually. However, I told him there was a condition and that was that he must put the squad's collective objectives first.”

He also added, “I am a footballing worker – I am not a star. If I have teammates who can win individual accolades, then I will do everything to help them. They must put the team's goals first, though. Gradually, we have come to an understanding. The team's superiors have taken a decision and I have respected it. The supporters whistling, this was not good for him. If I was in his position there, it sincerely would not have pleased me."

Don Balon has also reported that Neymar is interested to play under the coaching of Jose Mourinho. If Neymar is to join United, he would come in place of Anthony Martial or Marcus Rashford.

Martial has become the number 1 transfer target for Chelsea, Juventus and Bayern Munich. Rashford has been currently linked to a move to La Liga, as it seems that both Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in him.
