Gilberto da Silva Melo the 40 year old former retired Brazilian professional footballer believes that the young 24 year old Brazilian superstar Neymar will soon become the world no 1 player.
According to the former Brazilian defender the present Brazilian captain and Barcelona superstar Neymar will become the world’s best player with in 2 years.
The former Brazilian defender had won 35 caps for his country.
The former player believes that Brazil national team has reanimate themselves under their new coach Tite, and he thinks that in the next years he (Neymar) will surpass his club team mate Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
He added: “I think he's a little behind Cristiano and Messi right now, for having only recently arrived in Europe, but I'm sure Neymar, within a couple of years, will be raising his trophy. "
The former Flamengo player also reveals that he is not at all surprise by the start the Brazilian coach Tite has made after replacing Dunga as a Brazil head coach.
Gilberto added: “I had the opportunity to play under Tite at Gremio,”
“He's a man who has studied the game and he knows what he stands for, where he is and where he wants to go. I am sure he will be successful.”
“The Selecao is finding a way to play. They have to keep winning but we cannot deny that they look like a completely different team now.
