The former Spain international Luis Enrique, who is currently managing the Spanish champions FC Barcelona since 2014 is leaving the La Liga champions at the end of the season when his contract expires after three trophy-laden seasons at the club.
As after FC Barcelona thrashed Sporting Gijon 6-1 at the Nou Camp on Wednesday, the 46-year-old former FC Barcelona attacking midfielder and current head coach Luis Enrique made the announcement of leaving the La Liga champions at the end of the season.
And the FC Barcelona superstar Neymar, who has flourished under Enrique at the Blaugrana, scoring 82 goals and assisting a further 64 strikes in 133 matches has admitted that he is saddened that Enrique will leave the club at the end of the campaign.
As Neymar told Barcelona's official media channel, "It's sad that Luis Enrique is leaving, we have a lot of affection for him and we trust him a lot,"
"We are grateful for how much he's helped us over the years and for all that he's done in his three seasons."
