Edgardo Bauza is officially announced as Argentina’s new coach and eight months later he needs to show his skills and experience at the Serie A side.
Bauza was the ex-Rosario central and trainer of San Lorenzo got an opportunity to lead a national team as the post was vacant for sometime since Gerardo Martino resigned after the end of the 2016 Copa America. As the Argentine FA yet to come,Sao Paulo said that the trainer will be leaving back for his home-soil.
Bauza has a marvelous record in South American Football, leading Liga de Quito and San Lorenzo to their pride- Copa Libertadores in 2008 and 2013 respectively.
“Sao Paulo announce that Edgardo Bauza has revealed he received and accepted on Monday evening an offer from the Argentine Football Association (AFA) to take over the national team, as a result, he will leave the post of coach of the Tricolor. Hired at the start of the season, Paton leaves the club after eight months of important work rebuilding the team." Read by a statement.
