The World cup winning goalkeeper thinks that his team Bayern Munich should play as a team and they have to start play well or they cannot achieve anything this season.

This season under the Italian Boss the German champions have started their season very well at the beginning they won their eight matches consecutively and after that the bad patch started for them they drew their three match back to back and now they are sitting second to the table with 27 points three points adrift form RB Leipzig, and this season they also have a poor run in the champions league they are sitting 2nd in their Group table after Atletico Madrid.

Last season the German Champions finished their  league run with Ten points clear from their opponents Dortmund and this season they are sitting in the second position,

The World cup winning goalkeeper persist that this term they have to give everything to win their Domestic title for the fifth time.

The goalkeeper added:

"We had to work hard for everything with Pep Guardiola as well,"

"We have never been 'gifted' a game, nor the three points. We have always to be aware of that.

"It's obvious you always have to give everything in order to succeed. That's why playing at 80 per cent isn't enough – not against a 'normal' Bundesliga team. You always have to work hard.

"Not everybody has played at their highest level recently and we haven't played our best as a team either. When that happens, you realise that, even with many stars in the team, these games aren't easy to win.

"Many things are necessary if you want to win games. We have let things slide a bit up to now and that is a mistake which cannot keep happening in future."
