The French international made his debut last night and described that he is “very happy” to make his second debut for the Red Devils last night against Southampton.
Manchester United secures all three points as Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored twice for the Red Devils in the first home game for united. The final score was Man United 2 Southampton 0 (2-0).
The French Star played the full 90 minutes in his first appearance and created a huge impression at old Trafford after his world record move from Juventus. Pogba missed the first united game because of his suspension in which Manchester United thump 3-1 victory against Bournemouth.
"It's great," he told Sky Sports. "My first debut and we win, so I’m very happy for that and for the team. I came back home and I’m happy for the win and I hope to carry on like this – getting better and better and just keep winning, that’s all we can do.
"I feel very good. At the end I missed a bit but I was OK, my legs feel good – I can carry on. The first 20 minutes we started very slowly, they attacked us, but after we started taking the ball and playing with our quality. We scored the one goal and after that it came easily. That’s what we can do."
"That’s what [Ibrahimovic] said! I will have to see the replay again," he added. "Maybe I will see it again but the chances will come and I’m happy for the team – if we win, that’s the most important thing." Pogba added
The Swedish striker scored 3 goals in his last 2 matches, last night he scored a superb header and then he converted a powerful and low penalty shoot from the spot, as it takes Red Devils comfortably over the line against Saints at Old Trafford.
